Welcome to Theravine™ Stellenbosch!
South African Vine Spa Concept & Products

Theravine™: an extra-sensory range of next generation, vine-derived beauty from the soul of the Cape.

From beneath pointed cathedrals of mountainous solitude and a serenely azure sky, the Cape vineyards provide the essence which - when imbued with natural fynbos and other herbal extracts - presents a sensory spa range, promising natural beauty & skin care.

Theravine™’s patented process draws on extracts of the vine’s powerful anti-oxidants (50 times the strength of Vitamin E and 20 times that of Vitamin C) which are known to successfully combat ageing as well as act as an anti-dote to stress & pollutants.

Containing powerful anti-wrinkle and cell wall-strengthening properties, Theravine™™ is able to combat free-radicals to provide for a more healthy, more beautiful skin & body. Distinctive to Theravine™™ are the infusion of essential oils of aroma-therapeutic, organic and healing indigenous Cape botanicals which refresh, sooth and rejuvenate.

The beauty therapist working with the Theravine Concept are special trained and qualified therapists in Vinotherapy, Aromatherapy and Anti-Agingtreatments for face and body.

The Theravine range, used in the signature treatments, is the culmination of extensive research and development in which the finest viticultural grapes in the Western Cape area were used to develop our special crafted health and skincare ranges. The Theravine products active ingredients have been carefully selected and prepared with immense care over the years.

The by-products from these world class grapes, which have been specially nurtured and harvested, consists of grapeseeds, grapeseed extracts, husks, grapeseed oil and vine leaf extracts, form part of the unique South African healing processes and have resulted in achieving a world class heakth and skincare range, used in five stars top Spa’s in the world.

The range obtains its grape-derived ingredients from the south African indigenous Pinotage cultivar, the result of a cross between the Pinot Noir and Hermitage (Cinsault) varieties, hence the name Pinotage. The Pinotage cultivar was created in South Africa in 1925 by Stellenbosch University Professor A.I.Peroldt.

The Theravine range obtains also the grape ingredients from other grape cultivars such as Merlot, Chardonnay, Cabernet and Sauvignons Blanc, all which contain high concentration of grapeseed polyphenols, known as proanthocyanidens ( OPC’S). Research has proven that OPC’S, being 50 times stronger than Vitamin E and 20 times stronger than Vitamin C, are the source of the best antioxidantsavailable.

The indigenous medical botanical essential oils used in the products are natural and organically grown in the Western Cape and great care has been taken to ensure that they are gentle and safe for every day use.

Note: None of the products contain harmfull alcohols or petrochemicals (mineral oils), and they are not tested on animals.

Signed with Dwayne McGee’s mark (The Half Dead Oak) and stamped Sterling. . I hope you enjoy this ring as much as I enjoyed making it.

We understand the true value and nature of hand crafted art. And, we recognize it’s important to know that the Jewelry is truly hand made in South Texas. So, to ensure you that this is the real deal, a Certificate of Authenticity has or can be included with this item.

What is the South Texas Style

First off it’s elegantly rustic, unique, independent, and with original style, handmade, custom designed and manufacturers in south Texas, by true south Texans (that means born and raised here). It’s all things cowboy, farmer, vacareo and warrior.

The style featuring such design elements as stars, longhorns, horns, bone, horses, cattle, cowhides, brands, rope, spurs, cowboy hats, bandanas, Conchos, barbwire, adobe brick, stucco, and many others. Unique variations like the Texas Ranger Star, twisted longhorn’s, arched crown, Initials or Brands, and lariats really stand out. Items are made more unique and personalized by the use of natural local materials, old and distressed wood and metals. You could say it’s a Cross-pollination of Texas, Western, Country and Mexican. It reflects the “South Texas/Western Heritage of the rancher, horseman, rodeo man, farmer and lovers of the remote and rugged South Texas outdoors, the country way of life, living in your denims, (and loving every minute of it) and a fondness for livestock and working in the soil.

The items are pretty much functional. However they are created, carved, cutout, stamped, or painted, they are for rugged folks and places that our culture has not yet mellowed out.

Almost anything can take on the South Texas Style, furniture, apparel, jewelry, even your homes.

This art style depicts the stories and truths of south Texas.

Additionally the style should have no mass production runs, and should be individually hand crafted. The work evolves as it is created, it reflects the artist and consumer that purchases the piece by integrating the customer’s passion with the artist’s own.
