hi, I’m Keith Ferrazzi, author of Never Eat Alone. in my book, I had a chapter called Be a Conference Commando. what I mean by that is, don’t just go to conferences, master them, in five easy steps. number one: seven P’s. prior proper planning prevents piss-poor performance. meaning, figure out who you want to meet in advance, maybe even call them, but certainly know what you want to talk to them about while you’re there. number two: draft off the big kahuna. who was last year’s chair? who does everybody know? you get to know that person, you’ll meet everybody. number three: never break. don’t be that guy out there, you know, with a blackberry or on the phone at all the breaks. be with people. you know, use the time during the boring speakers to be on your blackberry, that’s what I do. number four: go deep. don’t be that networking jerk passing out business cards with one hand and a martini in the other. go deep. get to know people, really. build real relationships. number five: follow up. when the whole thing’s over, make sure you email people. let them know that you connected, and figure out a reason to get back in touch with them.

Do it yourself and get creative with it! Mix different lipsticks, eyeshadows, any color pigment you like. What is great is you KNOW EXACTLY what ingredients are in the product (no harmful chemicals/preservatives).
WHAT YOU NEED:
Paraffin Wax, and/or Beeswax,
Rubbing alcohol in spray bottle
Unscented Candle.
Coconut Oil
Petroleum Jelly (Vaseline)
Flavor drops or Candy Melts from craft store
Grater
Ziploc bag
Small container (whatever you want to use)
Measuring spoons
Grate some wax onto wax paper. Measure 1/4 tsp. grated wax into the plastic bag along with 1 tsp coconut oil, 1 tsp. vaseline, and 1/8 tsp. flavor drops or a candy melt.
Seal the bag and carefully put it in bowl of hot tap water to melt ingredients. 3-5 minutes should do it. Then mush all ingredients in bad to ensure they are well blended. Clip off tiny corner and squeeze mixture into your steriliezed container. Tap container on counter twice to ensure no air bubbles. Set for 1 hour and/or put in refrigerator. VOILA! You have your very own customized color/flavor/scented lipgloss!!!! Let me know how you do! ;D
For lotion just buy any unscented lotion and use any golden, champagne, golden shimmery pigment with flavor drops! Perfect for glowing skin in the spring/summer! ;D
****NOTE****
Capella Flavor Drops are a highly concentrated flavoring without any sweeteners, fats, calories, or sodium. Due to the concentration level of our drops, we avoid adding any preservatives or stabilizers. *I think it would be fine on lips/skin.
