The only thing that I use to wash my face is anti-bacterial handwash. Ironically every face wash that I’ve tried makes me break out. I don’t mind using the handwash, super cheap and it actually works. :-)

    acne breakouts are …
acne breakouts are not from external facewashes or anything. it is from the amount of sugar you eat and white flour. try eating less sugar and flours and starches and try eating 5 drops of oregano oil a day mixed with honey on a teaspoon. it saved my skin!!! eating more greens and fresh things instead of processed food helps too.

    I matters much more …
I matters much more what You put into Your body than what You put on it. Acne comes inside out, not outside in. You MUST eat healthy to keep your body clean at all times, otherwise the garbage that You put into Your body may come out through Your skin. Skin is just one of the ways through which human body cleans. I personally use products of Herbalife International (it’s a nutrition company, they also make some great products of personal care).

    ProActiv works for me =D
And i’ve also been using Neutragena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover (in the bluish purple bottle) for about a month now & I don’t know if its the Aloe & Cucumber etc in it, but it has helped my skin a bunch. I take all of my makeup off w/ that, instead of just using it on my eyes.

    Thats not true. …
Thats not true. Acne is genetic and hormonal. Food doesnt have anything to do with it. Milk has been linked to acne but thats all I know of. Milk=hormones=hormonal imbalance=acne

I found that if I use 2.5% benzoyl peroxide and exfoliate only a few times a day (opposed to every day that I used to do), my skin is mostly clear. I was using a dermatologist prescription but the results were sketchy.

Acne is caused from bacteria and a clog. None of this is due to your diet. Water can help reduce the clogging though.

    CLINIQUE! Expensive …
CLINIQUE! Expensive but great! Their 3Step* samples after the 2nd day gave me clearer results. I’ve been hooked since. The wash is non-abrasive but effective & moisturizer is light. Toner is refreshing but stings a bit.

3Step* There are 4 packs, all for different skin types to suit you

Independent Clinque counters should have a qualified retailer to recommend the best for your skin type- go to them! I’ve noticed department store counters have very little to none knowledge about skin care.
