sephorajunkie’s Contest Entry!!!

Posted under Makeover: Get The Look by admin

I will be doing THE Classic Smokey Eye. I consider it the best because is the most versatile (adding more color or recreating it entirely in another color) and nothing compares to its sexiness and allure

Makeup and Brushes in the order I used them:

L’Oreal HIP Eye Color Extend as Primer
Colorstay Foundation
Undereye: Physician’s Formula Yellow Concealer
Coty Airspun Loose Powder
A dollar store Apple Black Shadow Stick
A 25 cents (!) Black eyeshadow. Can be easily compared to MAC Carbon
Elizabeth Arden bone and vanilla toned eyeshadows (don’t know the names) I’ve had ‘em for 12+ years
Elizabeth Arden Black Eyeliner
Styli-Style 24 hr Line and Seal Liner for Water and tight line in Black/Noir

Brushes:
From my Ebay Set:
Synthetic Small
White Blending Round

2 no-brand Brushes that I trimmed to pack on highlight (I just got crafty)

and… One of the best brushes ever…
Target Smudge Brush ($1.97!!)

Cheeks: Jafra Blush
Lips: L’Oreal Endless Lip Color in “In the Buff”
Ardell Lashes (unknown number, I bought them at closeout w/o tag)
LashGrip Glue
My im Mexican Mascara in Black

And I guess that’s about it ;)

Hope I win!

I think this is the …
I think this is the definition of the smokey eye look! I love it! It suits you so well! The only thing I’d like to see more is how you blend the highlight in the brow bone area with the crease to get this nice effect. I am not really keen in blending yet and your finished result is so great! Any advince?
